I'm Maurice Griffin, a Eugene-based design engineer and senior web developer. I'm strongest where design decisions have to survive real code: interaction states, responsive systems, animation, accessibility, WordPress and Shopify realities, and the messy handoff between idea and launch.
More of that work than you'd expect has carried real human stakes: health behavior-change tools, family mental-health and patient-facing apps, public-interest and education projects — the kind of thing where a confusing form or a clumsy interaction has an actual cost. The recurring job is the same: take something complex, constrained, or emotionally heavy and make it feel usable, clear, and a little more humane.
It's the same instinct behind stufftodo, a task app I'm building for people whose brains don't run on conventional productivity tools. Long career, lots of contexts, one through-line: figure out the hard part, then make it look easy.
